The OML Center Call for Proposals 2014

The OML Center recognizes that science and technology have a critical role to play in enhancing the resilience and coping capacity of the various sectors of society whose aspiration to develop sustainably is threatened by climate-related risks and disasters. To help achieve one of its main goals of supporting focused and science-based efforts towards developing innovative solutions to mitigate the risks and impacts of climate change and geo-hazards, the Center lined up as one of its main activities the awarding of research grants that will support applied research/science and engineering-based initiatives.

This Call for Research Proposals is open to all Filipino researchers, scientists and practitioners. A research proposal should demonstrate how it can contribute in achieving the Center’s goals and must focus in at least one of the following core research areas.
