The OML Center will hold the Awarding of 2014 Research Grants and Updates of the 2013 Awardees, on 21 April 2014 at One Corporate Center, Ortigas, Pasig City.

This has been one of the main activities of the Center, which aims to formally recognize the projects and researches that can contribute useful knowledge to developing innovative solutions to alleviate the risks and impacts of climate change, geohazards and other related issues.

For this year, seven proposals passed the rigorous review of the Technical Review Panel and Program Committee. A total of 7.7 million worth of research grants shall be awarded to De la Salle University, Earthquake and Megacities Initiative (EMI), Isabela State University, University of the Philippines-Diliman, and University of the Philippines-Los Banos.

The event will also be a venue to have the 2013 Grantees to report on the progress of their projects.
