Science-Policy Brief Vol. 2 Issue 3 Released

Climate and disaster information are crucial in shaping effective adaptation and risk reduction decision-making. However, the extent to which effective decision-making is strengthened will require provision of demand-driven, localized, and user-specific information. While our understanding of the science of climate change is still limited at the global level, emphasis should be given to the relevance of scientific knowledge to bring local adaptation and risk reduction measures into policy and planning processes across various sectors. Thus, it is crucial to link scientific knowledge and policy to enable science-informed interventions in all sectors and levels of decision-making. Read more
