The Philippine Working Group on Disaster Resilience (PWG) is organizing a learning session on El Niño to be held October 28, 2:00 pm at the Environmental Science for Social Change (ESSC) conference room of the Manila Observatory.

This meeting is a venue for discussion and dialogue among media, relevant organizations and the scientific community. It is an opportunity for the academic community and scientific bodies to present information that media can use to communicate more effectively. At the same time, the scientific community can also learn what media needs to make this information more accessible to the public who need it to improve decision-making and preparedness.
