AMICAF presented its three projects under Step 1 on the first day and the two Step 2 projects on the second and third days of the Workshop. It is a four-step project wherein the outputs of the Step 1 projects would be the inputs for the succeeding projects. Under Step 1, the following project s were presented:

The OML Center Research Assistant Ms. Justine Ravi Orduña participated along with representatives from the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) for the consultation of the projects.

AMICAF is a joint project of DA and FAO which aims to address the climate change impacts on agriculture and adaptation to improve food security through a comprehensive framework, and to bridge climate change impact assessment, food insecurity vulnerability analysis, and livelihood adaptation approaches. Its National Project Manager is Dr. Eulito Bautista of DA. Funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, the project runs from October 2011 to September 2014.
