Join the Business Ecosystems Training 2014

In celebration of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, Philippine Business for the Environment (PBE) will be holding Business Ecosystems Training (BET), to be held on 13 to 15 October 2014 in Lipa, Batangas.

PBE believes that sustained business success and growth of an organization is largely dependent on the conscientious balance between the operational imperatives of a business and the ecological upkeep of the area in which said business operates.

The aim of this training is to increase awareness and knowledge on the business case for assessing, valuing, and managing ecosystems from both risk and opportunity perspectives. The training also aims to further equip participants with skills to better manage the environment while complementing specific goals and programs of their individual companies.

BET has four (4) modules, namely:

  1. Understanding the Links between Ecosystems and Business;
  2. Assessing Business Impacts and Dependencies on Ecosystems;
  3. An Introduction to Valuing Ecosystem Services; and
  4. Managing and Mitigating Business Impacts on Ecosystems.

Participants of the training will also get the chance to join a coastal vulnerability assessment seminar-workshop hosted by De La Salle University and Philippine Pollution Prevention Roundtable.  More information are included in the flyer.

Kindly contact Ms. Camille Ann Morana through phone numbers (02) 631 5714 / 635 3670, or send email to inbox@thepbe.org for registration details and further inquiries.
