The OML Center released infographic materials on the rehabilitation and management of coastal ecosystems in the Yolanda-affected areas. The said materials were likewise turned over to the concerned Local Government Units in Leyte and Eastern Samar. The infographic materials were the basic information on mangrove ecosystems as well as the results on coastal bioshield modeling, and comparison of storm surge protection options.

The infographic materials are some of the outputs from the Center’s study on the Evidence-based Rehabilitation of Yolanda-affected Areas under the Ecosystems Rehabilitation and Management component. The study sites were Tacloban City, Ormoc City and Palo in Leyte; and General MacArthur and Quinapondan in Eastern Samar.
