The Health Care Without Harm – Asia (HCWH-Asia) visited the OML Center last January 8, 2015 to discuss potential joint activities. Health Care without Harm-Asia is part of a strong global network of hundreds of member parties. Their mission is to transform the health sector worldwide, without compromising patient safety or care, so that it becomes ecologically sustainable and a leading advocate for environmental health and justice. HCWH maintains regional offices in the United States, Belgium, Argentina and the Philippines, and maintains strategic partnerships with Australia, China, India, Nepal, South Africa, and Tanzania.
As part of the initial discussion, Climate and Health Round Table Discussion (RTD) between HCWH and OML Center with other stakeholders (professional associations, research institutions, academia, civil society, etc.) is being set in April 2015. The objectives of the RTD are to:
