Climate Change Office now open for climate adaptation project proposals

The Climate Change Office is now accepting climate adaptation project proposals for funding under the People’s Survival Fund. It has mandated the allocation of a P1 billion fund to be accessed by local government units and community organizations to finance their climate change adaptation projects.

To apply for funding, proponents must submit proposals to the Climate Change Office which is tasked to evaluate and review proposals in coordination with a Technical Evaluation Committee before recommending its approval to the PSF Board.

Proponents will also be assessed for their readiness to receive the fund and implement the projects being proposed.

A Guide on How to Access the People’s Survival Fund has been prepared along with other materials accessible through the Climate Change Commission website.
